Vista based rapper/producer Brandon Harris or “Say Something Brandon” specializes in hip hop or more specifically, “trap” hip hop sounds. New on the scene, having started a little over a year ago, he has made a name for himself locally. He has racked up over 300,000 plays on SoundCloud with his most played, self produced track “2 Beans” standing at a whopping 150,000 plays. He has released one mixtape, “1800” with tracks like the upbeat “Nicotine” and ode to expensive jewelry and accessories, “Cuban Link”. He has also released an EP, “A Death Of Innocence” with tracks like the “El Japo” produced downcast and apologetic track, “Sorry” as well as the fast-paced and appreciative track, “Shoutout”. Harris is related to artist “Fijimacintosh”, who has a following of over 100,000 on Instagram as well as superstar “Trippie Redd” who is a platinum artist with millions of followers. Harris and Fiji have kept in close contact and have appeared on each others projects. Fijimacintosh featured on Harris’s mixtape, “1800” as a feature for the “2 Beans” remix that received 12,000+ plays. Harris appeared on Fijis “Cultural Icon” on the opening track, “%”. 1800 was his first full length project with a length of 54 minutes and 19 tracks. This mixtape was mostly self produced but had beats from producers like “El Japo” and “Ricoragin”. “My dad actually started me off, he bought me a whole setup to start producing my own music and ever since then I’m completely self taught.” He has not announced any new music yet.
